Smite! DOTA for the gods!

Since I could not find the time to finish most of my games, I searched for some free games that I could play casually on PlayStation store. I happened to stumble upon this awesome game. It's like DOTA except you play a god as your hero. You are most likely familiar with the gods featured in the game. 


Here's a video for Conquest mode, which is very similar to DOTA. The map composition is similar such that there are towers, creep camps and 3 lanes. This is my first win in the video (of course I wouldn't post my first few games as I failed big time and I wouldn't want to show you guys that Ha ha) :

I used an assassin type god, Thor. The ultimate skill is pretty cool check it out. He feels kind of like Puck slash Juggernaut slash Earthshaker. 

Another mode featured is Arena. There are plenty of other modes but these two are the only ones I have played so far. On the video below I play the tank type, Ymir. Arena mode feels like a deathmatch as the map is small and the goal is to allow as many of your troops to reach the enemy's base:

So how about it? Do you think it's good game? It's free after all. Though you can spend some money to get boosters, skins and the game currency to unlock new gods. I think I'll be keeping this game around. If you were a DOTA player at some point, I'm sure you'll like this one. One thing I noticed is that it might that be that popular in SEA as it takes to long to find a match. It is quite popular in North America so I tend to play on that server. Maybe I could see you guys around.
