Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Playthrough: Setting the Tone for Tomb Raider 2018 Movie

I've loved the Tomb Raider franchise since it first came out for PlayStation and even more so when Angelina Jolie played the role of Lara Croft in the movies. It seemed like she was perfect for the role and that image was engraved in our hearts. Now, a new Tomb Raider movie is going to be released on March 2018 starring Alicia Vikander. This is going to be a reboot of the movie version which is based from the Tomb Raider game released back on 2013 for PS3. The game was also a reboot of the series which tells the story of how Lara Croft, a young adventurer evolved into a hardened survivor: the Tomb Raider. There were a lot of talks and mixed emotions with the actress of choice. She does seem capable and resemble the in-game Lara we have but for the many fans of this franchise, Angelina Jolie is Lara Croft and Lara Croft is Angelina Jolie. I too will miss Angelina, but time is an inescapable variable and we'll need a younger version to keep the franchise alive. In order to set my expectations and find out more details about the upcoming movie, I decided to play the game. Luckily, a definitive edition for PS4 was released. You'll find the link to my playthrough below.
The graphics are really nice and detailed that you can actually see the wounds and scars that Lara accumulated throughout the game. I tried both Normal and Hard mode only to find out that only the damage inflicted by the enemies is affected with this setting. The enemy A.I. is a bit weak making it easier to complete than most adventure games I've played so far. Still, this is not to be taken lightly as a few hits in Hard mode can take you out in a blink of an eye. Gameplay and mechanics are well thought of and easy to grasp. It was a very good experience for me. Now, all eyes on the upcoming movie! Alicia Vikander please don't fail us!

Here's the link for my playthrough:
Each part is around 25-35 minutes long. The release of videos is still on-going as of November 24.

Just a bonus, this has to be the funniest (yet sad) scene in this game. I just had to share it. Ha ha.

Poor guy! Sorry Alex for messing around with your scene. Ha ha.
