Monster Hunter World: Weekly List of Bounties & Event Quests (June 1-7, 2018)


Quests will be available from:
June 1 00:00 UTC - June 7 23:59 UTC
PST: -8 hrs (Las Vegas, San Francisco, Seattle, etc.)
EST: -5 hrs (New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, etc.)
CET: +1 hr (France, Italy, Germany, Spain, etc.)
CST: +8 hrs (Beijing, Hongkong, Taiwan, Philippines, etc.)

Events Quests

What are Events Quests? 
Limited to the timeline specified above, may offer more rewards than a regular quest involving the specific monster, some unique features in the map or special materials needed to craft event equipment.

Hello Lunastra & Nergigante, I'll leave you two at it
This week's highlight is...well, of course Lunastra which was released yesterday. We even have a quest with Teostra, Lunastra and Nergigante on the same map. All of them tempered versions. Ha ha, let's parteeeeeeh! Also, if you missed out on the Sakura and Ryu Alpha armors, now is your chance, they are back on the Gathering Hub Challenge quests.

I. Flesh Cleaved to the Bone (5*)
What-to-do: Hunt Odogaron and Radobaan
Hunter Rank Requirements: 8 or higher
Map: Special Arena
Rewards:  Nothing special, easy access to low rank materials from the two monsters

II. Triple Threat Throwdown (6*)
What-to-do: Hunt Great Jagras, Great Girros, Dodogama
Hunter Rank Requirements: 13 or higher
Map: Special Arena
Rewards: Returning event quest, lots of low rarity jewel drops, event is perfect for farming jewels for melding and using the bandit mantle to get trade-in item drops to sell for zeny

III. Tracking the Delivery (9*)
What-to-do: Deliver 10 Blue Beryl
Hunter Rank Requirements: 50 or higher
Map: Elder's Recess
Rewards: Nothing really special. No large monsters here but lots of Elder Dragon tracks. Look for them on places where you usually find a specific Elder Dragon. Example: lots of Nergigante tracks on the area where you find you always find him, Teostra tracks along the lava area and Kushala tracks on the high areas.

IV. Snow and Cherry Blossoms (9*)
What-to-do: Hunt Tempered Legiana and Tempered Pink Rathian
Hunter Rank Requirements: 30 or higher
Map: Coral Highlands
Reward: about 65-75% experience bar, can't really tell but awesome hunter rank exp.

IV. The Thronetaker (9*)
What-to-do: Tempered Teostra, Lunastra and Nergigante
Hunter Rank Requirements: 50 or higher
Map: Elder's Recess
Rewards: Not quite sure, only gotten standard quest rewards so far, I guess easy access to their materials (if they are easy enough to beat haha, not to worry they have less health than usual). So far I've done 20 minutes, but good players will finish it better than that. Had to be cautious with Lunastra, only my third time going against it.

Limited Bounties (Resource Center)

Why do these Bounties?
They provide a good amount of Research Points and Armor Spheres for upgrading your armor.
Completing all 3 Bounties will reward you with a Gold Wyverian Print which you can use on the Elder Melder to meld rare materials such as gems! The Golden Egg currently does not have any use and can be sold for 20k zeny. They are listed on the Limited tab from the Bounties quests in the Resource Center. They are automatically updated each time you do a task related to the quest. You need to talk to the Research Center NPC to obtain the rewards.

I. Ecology Survey: Hunt Brute Wyvern
What-to-do: Slay or Capture any 3 Brute Wyverns (Anjanath, Barroth, Uragaan, Radobaan, Deviljho)
Rewards:  300 Research Points, Armor Sphere x 5

II. General: Rotten Vale
What-to-do: Complete any 4 quests in Rotten Vale
Rewards:  500 Research Points, Advanced Armor Sphere x 3, Silver Wyverian Print x 1

III. Ecology Survey: Slay Lunastra
What-to-do: Slay Lunastra 4 times
Rewards:  600 Research Points, Hard Armor Sphere x 4, Silver Wyverian Print x 1

 IV. General: Limited Bounty
What-to-do: Complete all Limited Bounties specified above
Rewards:  550 Research Points, Gold Wyverian Print x 1, Golden Egg x 1


Challenge Quests


What are Challenge Quests?
These quests can be found on the Arena via Gathering Hub. Depending on the quest difficulty will grant you coins and some items. If you did good and finish the quest fast you might be included in the World Records (Top 100 players with fastest clear time).

I: Gale & Fangs Slay Event 3
Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher
What-to-do: Slay Odogaron and Legiana
Available Weapons:Great Sword, Lance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun
Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards

II: Nergigante Slay Event 1,4
Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher
What-to-do: Slay Nergigante
Available Weapons: Long Sword, Hammer, Gun Lance, Switch Axe, Bow / Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Lance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun
Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards
 
III. Challenge Quest 2: Beginner(4*)
Hunter Rank Req: 5 or higher
What-to-do: Slay Paolumu and Tobi-Kadachi
Available Weapons: Dual Blades, Hunting Horn, Switch Axe, Insect Glaive, Bow
Rewards: Standard Arena Rewards

IV: Empress in Full Bloom 1,2,3 (7*) 

Hunter Rank Req: 12 or higher
What-to-do: Slay Pink Rathian
Available Weapons: all 14 weapons distributed on each quest

V: The Awakened Satsui no Hado 1,2,3 (7*) 
Hunter Rank Req: 12 or higher
What-to-do: Slay Nergigante
Available Weapons: all 14 weapons distributed on each quest
