Monster Hunter World: Weekly List of Bounties & Event Quests, Street Fighter V Collaboration Sakura Full Armor Set (May 4-10, 2018)

Events Quests

What are Events Quests? 

Limited to the timeline specified above, may offer more rewards than a regular quest involving the specific monster, some unique features in the map or special materials needed to craft event equipment.

SFV Sakura Full Armor Set

This week's highlight is the SFV Sakura Full Armor Set! Devil May Cry-Monster Hunter World Collaboration is still available until May 10. The Quest is listed under Challenges from the Gathering Hub Arena Lass NPC entitled Empress in Full Bloom. The upgrade for Ryu set is not yet available this week.

I. Code Red(8*) - Available from April 27-May 10, 2018

What-to-do: Hunt Anjanath, Odogaron, Rathalos, Teostra

Hunter Rank Requirements: 14 or higher

Map: Arena

Rewards: Standard monster drops plus "Red Orb" which has the same icon as a gem. You need 7 of these, 1 for each armor part and 2 for the sword. You will be fighting the monsters in the order listed above, they will come out one by one after a certain time so beat them as fast as you can to avoid any trouble. You also need Teostra gem for the leg armor then Anjanath and Odogaron gem for the sword, rest of materials are easy.

It comes with a cool Guild Card background as well!

Here is one of my runs, took me 11'58'' though, not the best run but job done.

II. Flesh Cleaved to the Bone (5*)

What-to-do: Hunt Radobaan and Odogaron

Hunter Rank Requirements: 8 or higher

Map: Special Arena

Rewards: Nothing special, easy access to low rank materials from the two monsters

III. Triple Threat Throwdown (6*)

What-to-do: Hunt Great Jagras, Great Girros, Dodogama

Hunter Rank Requirements: 13 or higher

Map: Special Arena

Rewards: Returning event quest, lots of low rarity jewel drops, event is perfect for farming jewels for melding and using the bandit mantle to get trade-in item drops to sell for zeny

IV. Relish the Moment (9*)

What-to-do: Hunt Tempered Deviljho

Hunter Rank Requirements: 50 or higher

Map: Elder's Recess

Rewards: Returning event quest, may drop streamstones for augmenting your weapons. Do this quest if you are confident in beating the monster to farm for streamstones, otherwise time is best spent for other tempered investigations without a high risk of failing. Probably one of the most difficult monsters in the game for average players.

V. A Simple Task (9*)

What-to-do: Gather 10 Gourmet Shroomcap

Hunter Rank Requirements: 30 or higher

Map: Ancient Forest

Rewards: Nothing Special, no large monsters in the area but lots of Tempered Threat Level 1 and 2 tracks for farming Tempered Investigations.

Limited Bounties (Resource Center)

Why do these Bounties?

They provide a good amount of Research Points and Armor Spheres for upgrading your armor.

Completing all 3 Bounties will reward you with a Gold Wyverian Print which you can use on the Elder Melder to meld rare materials such as gems! The Golden Egg currently does not have any use and can be sold for 20k zeny. They are listed on the Limited tab from the Bounties quests in the Resource Center. They are automatically updated each time you do a task related to the quest. You need to talk to the Research Center NPC to obtain the rewards.

I. Ecology Survey: Hunt Fanged Wyvern

What-to-do: Slay or Capture 3 Great Jagras/Great Girros/Dodogama/Odogaron/Tobi-Kadachi

Rewards:  300 Research Points, Armor Sphere x 4

II. Ecology Survey: Hunt Radobaan

What-to-do: Slay or Capture 4 High/Low Rank Radobaan

Rewards:  350 Research Points, Armor Sphere+ x 2, First Wyverian Print x 1

III. General: 8* Rank

What-to-do: Complete any 8* Quest 5 times

Rewards:  600 Research Points, Hard Armor Sphere x 4, Silver Wyverian Print x 1

IV. General: Limited Bounty Rewards

What-to-do: Complete all Limited Bounties specified above

Rewards:  400 Research Points, Gold Wyverian Print x 1, Silver Egg x 1

Challenge Quests

What are Challenge Quests?

These quests can be found on the Arena via Gathering Hub. Depending on the quest difficulty will grant you coins and some items. If you did good and finish the quest fast you might be included in the World Records (Top 100 players with fastest clear time).

The following are available from March 22 - May 10:
I. Nergigante Slay Event 1,2,3

Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Nergigante
Available Weapons: All 14 weapons distributed on each event

Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards

II: Gale & Fangs Slay Event 1,2,3
Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Odogaron and Legiana
Available Weapons: All 14 weapons distributed on each event

Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards
 

III. Challenge Quest 1: Intermediate (7*)

Hunter Rank Req:

What-to-do: Slay Rathalos and Tzitzi-Ya-Ku
Available Weapons: Sword and Shield, Hunting Horn, Charge Blade, Insect Glaive, Light Bowgun

Rewards: Standard Arena Rewards

IV. Empress in Full Bloom 1,2,3 (7*)

Hunter Rank Req:

What-to-do: Slay Pink Rathian
Available Weapons: All weapons distributed on the 3 quests.

Rewards: SFV Ticket II, Hunter King Coin, Rathian Coin and standard Arena Rewards. You need 4 SFV Ticket II, 4 Hunter King Coin, 4 Rathian Coin and 6 Pink Rathian Scale+ to craft the set.

SFV Ticket II can be earned in the event  to craft the Sakura Full Armor Set

Sakura is a Full Armor Set just like the first SFV Ryu Set (Disregard the Non-Elemental Boost Skill, forgot to remove the jewel in my Divine Slasher Sorry :S )
