Monster Hunter World: Weekly List of Bounties & Event Quests, Street Fighter V Collaboration Ryu Alpha Full Armor Set (May 11-17, 2018)

Events Quests

What are Events Quests? 

Limited to the timeline specified above, may offer more rewards than a regular quest involving the specific monster, some unique features in the map or special materials needed to craft event equipment.

Ryu Alpha Armor Set

This week's highlight is the SFV Ryu Alpha Full Armor Set! The quest is listed under Challenges from the Gathering Hub Arena Lass NPC entitled "The Awakened Satsui No Hado". The quest "Empress in Full Bloom" for Sakura Full Armor Set is still up.

I. Wicked Wildspire Warfare (5*)

What-to-do: Hunt Diablos and 2 Barroths

Hunter Rank Requirements: 8 or higher

Map: Special Arena

Rewards: Good amount of armor spheres for upgrading armor

II. Kirin the Myth (5*)

What-to-do: Slay 2 Kirin

Hunter Rank Requirements: 8 or higher

Map: Coral Highlands

Rewards: Nothing special, easy access to low rank Kirin materials

III. Rollin' with the Uragaan (7*)

What-to-do: Hunt 2 Uragaan

Hunter Rank Requirements:13 or higher

Map: Elder's Recess

Rewards: Good amount of armor spheres for upgrading armor

IV. Keeper of the Otherworld (9*)

What-to-do:Slay Xeno'Jiiva

Hunter Rank Requirements:16 or higher

Map: Confluence of Fates

Rewards: Same as Xeno'Jiiva optional quest, only way to farm Xeno'Jiiva materials

Limited Bounties (Resource Center)

Why do these Bounties?

They provide a good amount of Research Points and Armor Spheres for upgrading your armor.

Completing all 3 Bounties will reward you with a Gold Wyverian Print which you can use on the Elder Melder to meld rare materials such as gems! The Golden Egg currently does not have any use and can be sold for 20k zeny. They are listed on the Limited tab from the Bounties quests in the Resource Center. They are automatically updated each time you do a task related to the quest. You need to talk to the Research Center NPC to obtain the rewards.

I. Ecology Survey: Hunt Barroth

What-to-do: Slay or Capture 3 low rank/high rank Barroth

Rewards:  300 Research Points, Armor Sphere x 5

II. Field Research: Challenge

What-to-do: Complete 4 high rank challenge quests

Rewards:  550 Research Points, Advanced Armor Sphere x 1, Silver Wyverian Print x 1

III. General: 9* Rank

What-to-do: Complete any 9* Quest 5 times

Rewards:  700 Research Points, Hard Armor Sphere x 5, Silver Wyverian Print x 1

IV. General: Limited Bounty Rewards

What-to-do: Complete all Limited Bounties specified above

Rewards:  600 Research Points, Gold Wyverian Print x 1, Golden Egg x 1

Challenge Quests

What are Challenge Quests?

These quests can be found on the Arena via Gathering Hub. Depending on the quest difficulty will grant you coins and some items. If you did good and finish the quest fast you might be included in the World Records (Top 100 players with fastest clear time).

I: Gale & Fangs Slay Event 1,2,3
Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Odogaron and Legiana
Available Weapons: All 14 weapons distributed on each event

Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards

II: Nergigante Slay Event 4
Hunter Rank Req: 16 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Nergigante
Available Weapons: Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Lance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun

Rewards:  Standard Arena Rewards
 
III. Empress in Full Bloom 1,2,3 (7*)

Hunter Rank Req: 12 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Pink Rathian
Available Weapons: All weapons distributed on the 3 quests.

Rewards: SFV Ticket II, Hunter King Coin, Rathian Coin and standard Arena Rewards. You need 4 SFV Ticket II, 4 Hunter King Coin, 4 Rathian Coin and 6 Pink Rathian Scale+ to craft the set.

SFV Ticket II can be earned in the event  to craft the Sakura Full Armor Set

The set has Pink Rathian Mastery good for poison weapon builds, apart from that well, meh...

To give you a better look, here's my take on the quest, not that good though. 

IV. The Awakened Satsui No Hado 1,2,3 (8*)

Hunter Rank Req: 13 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Nergigante
Available Weapons: All weapons distributed on the 3 quests.

Rewards: SFV Ticket III for the Ryu Alpha Full Armor Set. You need 4 SFV Ticket III, 5 Hunter King Coin, 6 Immortal Dragonscale, 1 Rathalos Plate to complete the set. 

Ryu Alpha set has both Rathalos Mastery which can be quite good

Need 4 SFV III Tickets to Complete the Full Armor Set

 

V. Challenge Quest 1: Expert (9*)

Hunter Rank Req: 15 or higher

What-to-do: Slay Tempered Bazelguese and Tempered Uragaan
Available Weapons: Sword & Shield, Dual Blades, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Light Bowgun

Rewards: Standard Arena Rewards
